MAKS 2009 will enable all people, infatuated with the sky or those simply willing to see the demonstration flights of the best international air display teams, to bask to the full extent in this breathtaking show.  During MAKS 2009 you will have an opportunity to see hundreds of aircrafts of all types and applications as well as state-of-the-art development in the area of space-based technology, to find out more about the latest advances in the space technology and domestic and international armament know-how.
MAKS 2009 is one of the most spectacular air shows in the world where the best Russian and international test-pilots and air display teams perform maneuvers. Russian Air Force will be represented by such outstanding aerobatic teams as “Strizhi” (Swifts) and “Russian vityaz” (Russian Knights). Special guest of the event will become the leading foreign flight team. The daily display program includes flight demonstrations of dozens of aircraft and helicopter equipment.
You are in for flight records, virtuosic pilot guidance and enormous pleasure excited by the roar of air engines and the dash of flying machines.
MAKS 2009 is not intended only to expose the recent development for business purposes, it is a true nation-wide day. It is attended by people coming from all over Russia, which means fresh contacts with aviation fans and admirers akin to you. You will be able to watch demonstration flights, sitting comfortably in an open café or to nestle down on the grass for a barbecue, to take a seat in the cabin of a fighter, to take a picture of yourself against the background of line aircrafts or b-planes of the dawn of aviation. Make sure to buy gifts, years after the fairy show they will remind you of the time nicely passed.
You are looking forward to competitions, jokes, youth-oriented programs. In the evening, when the roar of the stands subsides, musicians and DJs will play at the stage.
Children under 14, accompanied by their parents, can visit the Aviation Salon for free on public days. The exhibition site will be equipped with a playground and baby-care areas for the most family comfort. The youngest visitors are to see merry kids programs.
