THE PROGRAM OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE ULYANOVSK REGION ON MAKS 2009

The Ulyanovsk aircraft TU-204-300 will be presented at the International Space and Aviation Show MAKS-2009 in the “president line”.

Besides, the Ulyanovsk region will present the project of “flying saucer” production, i.e. the air static thermoballstable flying vehicle of “locomoskyner” type (ATLA). The Agreement of intentions between the Government of the Ulyanovsk region and JSC “Locomosky” to establish the ATLA production in Ulyanovsk is planned to be concluded within the air show.

During the air show the collective exposition of the Ulyanovsk region will be presented under the brand “Ulyanovsk – the aviation capital of Russia” and the presentation of the leading enterprises of the region in the field of aviation will take place.

As a whole during the Ulyanovsk region delegation participation at the Show the region plans to conclude another four agreements of cooperation:

• Agreement of cooperation between the Government of the Ulyanovsk region and JSC “United Aircraft Corporation”. The subject of the given agreement is to establish the strategic partnership and develop the long-term effective and beneficial cooperation of the parties.


• Agreement of cooperation between the Government of the Ulyanovsk region and non-profit partnership “National Aviation Center”. The main goal of the agreement is to attract the investments for the joint projects, to create the conditions for technological innovations at the aviation enterprises, to provide the training, re-training and advanced education for the aviation staff; to create the conditions to provide the access to the scientific and educations resources; training, scientific and innovation activity supervision.


• Agreement between the cities Zhukovsky and Ulyanovsk of the trade and economic, scientific and technical and social and cultural cooperation.
