Regulations for awards "Best Exposition of MAKS 2011"

1. AWARDS’ MAIN TARGETS 

      1.1. BEST DISPLAY OF MAKS 2011 AWARDS, organized by AVIASALON JSC with the assistance of AIRCRAFT INTERIORS ASSOCIATION aim to estimate the  best and brightest solutions of participants at the Aviation Show, i.e. booth decoration, advertising materials, holding events and activities.

      1.2. The awards intents to encourage exhibitors’ professional approach in participating at the Aviation Show.

      1.3. The Awards creates the climate of public inspiration and motivation for introduction of innovative approaches, technologies and materials in booth decoration, as well as the application of PR tools.

      1.4. The show’s goal of no small importance is to draw some more attention of the public and pressmen to the Aviation Show.

 

2. BEST DISPLAY OF MAKS 2011 AWARDS

is held in the following categories:

 

  1. Best booth design
  2. Booth originality
  3. Best advertising materials
  4. Innovations in booth design
  5. Most informative booth
  6. Best decoration of a chalet
  7. Best presentation of a product
  8. Holding special events
  9. Holding events for mass media
  10. Presentation of a new product
  11. Presentation of a know-how

 

3. KEY FACTORS AND CRITERIA TO BE ESTIMATED: 

3.1. application of new technologies and  equipment in product or services demonstration;

3.2. application of modern advertizing methods, i.e. sound, print, etc.;

3.3. design and  style of booth decoration;

3.4. presence of innovative elements and compositions in booth decoration;

3.5. application of corporate design elements in decoration;

3.6. organizing of stand-assistants’ work and measures for attention getting;

3.7. display information value;

3.8. arrangement of  press conferences, seminars, conferences, branch events, etc.;

3.9. presentation of a new breakthrough product in Russia’s aviation and space field;

3.10. presentation of know-how in technical processes, production, etc. 

 

4. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

      4.1. All exhibitors of International Aviation and Space Salon are welcome to take part in this particular awards.

      4.2. The participant submits an application for participation in the Awards indicating the chosen category.   Subject to the category, you shall describe the following items:

  • booth concept;
  • things to be demonstrated at booth (equipment, advertizing materials, etc.)
  • how you organize stand-assistants’ work;
  • your booth events: presentations, shows, advertising actions (if applicable);
  • holding special events, press conferences, etc.;
  • measures for public attention getting;
  • your product description;
  • description of know-how, breakthrough product or technologies;
  • a show plan, indicating your booth location.

 

5. EXHIBITION CONTRACTORS

      5.1. The exhibition contractors are the MINISTRY OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE http://www.minpromtorg.gov.ru/eng, AVIASALON JSC http://www.aviasalon.com/en/ with the assistance of AVIATION INTERIORS ASSOCIATION http://aviainteriors.ru/en/

      5.2. The whole organizational and technical work for the Awards holding is carried by organizing committee.

      5.3. The Awards informational partner is an aviation and analytical portal Aviation Explorer www.aex.ru

      5.3. For the purpose of objectiveness in deciding the Awards’ winner we have appointed an expert jury that includes representatives of state aviation authorities, AVIASALON JSC, AIRCRAFT INTERIORS ASSOCIATION, some competent experts and media representatives.

 

      Such a panel of judges allows many-sided and open-minded expert judgments when choosing a winner.

      Mr. Manturov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Russian Federation, is appointed the President of the Awards’ jury.

 

6. AWARDING

      6.1. Based on the information received from exhibitors’ applications, as well as the presentation of their booths, the members of the working group will analyze and make integral assessment to each competitive bidder.

      6.2. Each criterion is estimated within five-grade scale.

      6.3. After that, short lists are created (if put it differently, the front-runners are determined; 2-3 companies for each category) for final decision on the winner. The initiative creation of the short lists in each category will be carried out after visiting and forward estimating of displays.

      6.4. The finalists are to be decided after secret vote of the award panel. Each category will have one nominee.

      6.5. The red carpet awarding ceremony will be held with a high participation of representatives of aviation community and mass media. The provisional ceremony date is August, 19 (the 4th day of Aviation Show open).

      6.6. The winners will be awarded with Certificates and artistic statuettes.
