In the course of the air show a number of agreements and deals worth approximately 10 billion dollars were signed. It considerably exceeds the volume of deals concluded during the air shows ÌÀKS 2005 (5 billion dollars) and ÌÀKS 2007 (3 billion dollars).

ÌÀKS-2009 has become an unforgettable air holiday for hundreds of thousands of aircraft lovers. According to the number of the international air display teams from different countries which took part in the event, MAKS still holds the leading position in the world.

According to the Ministry of the Interior of Russia, 550 thousand people visited the exhibition during the days of ÌÀKS-2009 work; the largest influx of visitors occurred on Saturday when more than 180 thousand people visited the event.
All listed above deservedly makes MAKS one of the leading and prestigious Salons of the world, and that facilitates promotion of aviation and space branch not only to domestic but also to international market.
The concept of holding the anniversary tenth ÌÀKS-2011 has been developed taking into account the real economic situation; it satisfies the international standards and techniques of work, characteristic of exhibition activities.

From June 30 till July 04, 2010 the International Forum "Engineering Technologies 2010" will be held in the territory of the airfield "Ramenskoye", the traditional venue of MAKS. All the positive points of organizing and holding the Business Program of the Forum will be considered and used during the organization and realization of ÌÀKS 2011 Business Program.
And, certainly, for the Salon Organizers, creation of comfortable conditions for MAKS participants, business visitors and guests remains one of the top priorities.
Just as at ÌÀKS-2009, at MAKS-2011 there will be days for business audience and days for general audience.
The work on attraction of participants for ÌÀKS-2011 was started immediately after the completion of the air show ÌÀKS-2009 and it involved negotiations with both domestic and foreign companies for the purpose of preliminary determination of the format, the extent of their participation and planning the budget for participation in ÌÀKS 2011.
The results of these negotiations can be seen even today: the JSC "Aviasalon" administration received participation letters from a number of enterprises, among which are the following: JSC "UAC", OPK Oboronprom, Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos), the Russian Technologies State Corporation, OJSC "Concern PVO "Almaz-Antey", Tactical Missiles Corporation JSC, JSC "LaserService", JSC "Concern "Avionica", JSC "Azimut", "Aviazapchast" PLC, CSTS "Dinamika", JSC "Sparc", and others.
