The Second European Congress for Transport Aviation

August 19-20, 2009 within the frameworks of the International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS 2009 the Second European Congress for Transport Aviation will take place. The event is organized by Aviasalon JSC together with the German-Russian Economic Alliance...eV and supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and by Russian Technologies State Corp.
The transport aviation market demonstrates rather high growth rates despite of the economical crisis. It is one of the indicators of the real state and perspective of the world economy development.
Transport aviation is one of the few sectors in world economy, where Russia has strategic competitive advantages.
The present world economic situation demands wide and professional discussion of modern problems of development and functioning of the transport aviation market in the conditions of financial crisis and economic recession.
The following topics will be discussed during the Congress:
- international transport aviation market and the global economical crisis: dynamics and forecast of development in the situation of economic recession, changes in price formation structure, price and demand, trends of ramp aviation market, dynamics of development of the market's spot-segment and of the segment of long-term freight contracting, criteria of honest competition on the market, influence of political risks....
- transport aviation today and tomorrow: modern cargo transport fleet, problems of modernization and conversion of aviation transport funds, new technology, unsatisfied demand for average turboprop aircraft, future of transport aircrafts...
- infrastructure and investment: connection between modern cargo aviation infrastructure with the current economic situation, dynamics and area of investments, modern forms and mechanisms of cargo aviation development, multimodal structures and technologies, mechanisms of project financing...
- political view on the topic: cargo air transport as the object of national and international politics, new aspects of security in cargo air transportation, new aircraft certification and requirements to conservation of the environment, humanitarian mission of transport aviation, business support in this sphere, political protectionism or independent competition.

Registration since 8-45 a.m. Working hours: 9-15 a.m. - 5-45 p.m.
Second day: Special program for demonstration of aviation technics.
