CONCEPTS AND TECHNOLOGIES OF ATM
II International Workshop «Concepts and Technologies of Air Traffic Management» is to be held in Zhukovsky on August 19-20, 2009 in the frames of International Aviation&Space Salon MAKS 2009.
The Workshop is organized by Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute in cooperation with State Research Institute of Aviation Systems (GosNIIAS) under support of Ministry of Industry and Trade of RF and Federal Air Navigation Authority.
The 1st Workshop dedicated to air traffic management took place in August 2007 under support of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, Federal Agency on Industry, Federal Air Navigation Authority and with participation of the leading Russian and European R&D institutes of ATM field.
In the frames of this event all the participants were involved into the attempted to form the unite vision of the future air transport system, sharing the opinions about its development, determining the list of critical technologies, and planning the ways of regulatory base harmonization and improvement. The first workshop explicitly revealed the necessity of bringing together and strenghthing links between leading experts and researchers in the ATM R&D community.
Analyzing the tendencies of the civil aviation development and forecast for air traffic volume increase during the
next 15-20 years, more tough requirements forwards flight safety, accuracy of navigation, air transport effectiveness, the Organizers have decided to bring the following topics up to the Workshop:

The Workshop is aimed to create and reinforce partnership relationships in the frames of ATM R&D community, share available results and find the new forms of cooperation.
