ENGINE MANUFACTURERS FROM PERM MAKE CONTRACTS AT MAKS 2007
The Perm Engine-building Complex made a number of agreements
on the shipment of its engines to Russian and foreign companies. On August 22
its representatives signed a contract on the shipment of five PS-90A-76 engines
to the Azerbaijani Silk Way Airlines.
On August 23 the company is to sign an
agreement with Ilyushin Finance Co. on the shipment of twenty-seven PS-90
engines (A1 and A2 models).
The PS-90A series engines meet the ICAO
environmental aircraft noise and emission standards, which makes it possible to
use these engines practically in every country of the world without any
restrictions.
