MOSCOW DAY AT MAKS 2007

         August 23 is the Day of Moscow at MAKS 2007. And there is a good reason to it. Over 200 companies, which is almost one-third of the total number of Russian exhibitors, are situated in Moscow and Moscow region. There is a special exhibition of Moscow companies featuring airplanes, helicopters and other aircrafts, among them the AU-17 aerostat, recently acquired by the Moscow government for monitoring public events. 

         The Moscow government takes an active part in the business program of the airshow. Today a program of reconstruction and development of regional airports will be presented at the Moscow government's business centre. The results of the Moscow government's business program will be announced at MAKS 2007 on August 26.

         Moreover with an active support of the Moscow government from August 23 to August 26 Zhokovsky will host FAI Grand Prix for piston-engine airplanes.
