“Ot vinta!” Festival gathers talented youth
Open festival of youth art "Ot vinta!" (Let's get going!),
organized in the frames of MAKS 2007, attracted visitors' attention. During the
first day of the airshow Russia's President Vladimir Putin, First Vice-Premier
Segey Ivanov, Head of Federal Industry Agency Boris Aleshin and UABC CEO
Alexey Fedorov watched the works made by schoolchildren and university
students.
‘I hope that your debut will be the start of
great discoveries, said Vladimir Putin. ‘We hope our dreams come true',
answered the young participants.
One of the most outstanding works was a
research made by an eleventh-grader Maria Vechkanova titled "About most optimal
speed in the airspace". She has already received an invitation to hold a speech
before the students and graduate students of the Moscow Institute of Physics
and Technology.
The first experience turned out to be positive.
‘We hope that at the next open youth festival "Ot vinta!" we will have even
more participants. We need to look for talented youth, because our country is
vast. They need our support. We should give them a chance to believe in
themselves', said Head of Federal Industry Agency Boris Aleshin.
