THE BEST EXHIBITION STANDS OF MAKS 2009 HAVE BEEN NAMED

During the official awarding ceremony of the contest “The best exhibition stand” companies were named, which used best approach to design of their exhibition stands at the International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS 2009. Contest was organized by Aviasalon JSC, Association of Aviation Interior Companies and Community of aviation experts Aviation Explorer with support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Minister V. Khristenko acted as a Chairman of the Organization committee.

Contest “Best exhibition stand” was held within the frameworks of the Salon for the first time. 60 companies-exhibitors of MAKS 2009 (including corporate pavilions and chalets) applied for participation in this interesting contest. More than hundred guests took part in the official awarding ceremony - Russian and foreign participants of the Aviation Salon, representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Aviasalon JSC, mass media representatives.

Winners of the contest were decided by secret voting of jurors – seven independent experts in the field of exhibition stand design, representatives of governmental authorities, designers, journalists.

"By organizing this contest we had one major goal – award those exhibitors of the Aviation Salon, who used the best exhibition technologies for attracting public attention to achievements of the aviation industry. This contest was held for the first time and to our surprise it elicited wide response. Taking into consideration such debut we can with confidence say that this contest has a future", - said Vitaliy Romanyuk, President of Association of Aviation Interior Companies.

Winners of the contest “Best exhibition stand” are:

• "Most innovative stand" – United Industrial Corporation Oboronprom JSC
• "Most informative stand" – UAC JSC (developer – Aviaexposervice company)
• "Best advertising decisions" – Moscow Aviation Institute MAI and German Pavilion
• "Most original stand" – united exposition of Rostechnologii State Corp. and Russian Defense Export State Corp. Rosoboronexport, and also Nota-Bank JSC
• "Best stand design" – Radio and Electrical Technologies Concern
• "Best product presentation " – Military Industrial Company

Winners of the contest were awarded with certificates and designer statuettes, which had been made specially for this event by famous sculptor Victor Kopach.

Association of Aviation Interior Companies (AAIC) is called to unite efforts of the leading companies that develop and mount serial and VIP-interiors in aircrafts, produce components, furniture and interior elements for cabins. This Association sees its mission in effective participation in the program called Development of Civil Aviation Technics of Russia till 2015.
