IN THE MEMORY OF COL. IGOR TKACHENKO

On August, 16 during the repetition flights of aerobatic team Russkiye Vityazi (Russian Knights) its commander was tragically killed in a terrible accident. Today in the Opening day of MAKS 2009 thousands of people held one minute’s silence in the memory of the legendary pilot and extraordinary man – Col. Igor Tkachenko. His name is connected with development of Aviation Salons MAKS and he will stay in memory of millions of admiring viewers forever.
