THE TUPOLEV TU-144 AT MAKS-2007
The only remaining fully equipped supersonic passenger airplane the Tupolev Tu-144 is exhibited at MAKS-2007. This unique aircraft was bought and renewed by the Zhukovsky Heroes Club. From 16 manufactured aircrafts only 7 remained and are now displayed in different museums of the country. And who would have thought that at the beginning of this year the plane was destined to go for scrap metal.
